Co-Founder & Head of Technical Operations & Manufacturing
30+ Years Technical Expertise- Yarn-to-garment vertical production
- In-line quality SOPs & export compliance
- Architect of Wale Tech
Shekar has spent more than three decades inside the South Indian textile belt, working through every stage of the process that most brands only ever see as a finished carton: yarn selection, knitting, dyeing and processing, cutting, stitching and final dispatch.
His specialism is vertical production — keeping fabric innovation, in-line quality SOPs and export compliance under one plan rather than spread across a chain of intermediaries. The inspection discipline JERSEYJO runs on, from 4-point fabric systems to AQL protocols and barcoded export dispatch, comes directly out of that experience.
He is also the driving force behind Wale Tech. The platform was engineered against problems he was living with on the floor — order visibility, fabric traceability and milestone slippage — rather than designed in the abstract as a product.
Vertical production
Knit, dye, cut, stitch and finish coordinated under a single production plan, with capacity booked against real retail drop dates.
Quality & compliance
In-line audit formats, defect-cause logging, AQL 2.5 final inspection and the export documentation buyers' DCs expect.
Manufacturing technology
Specified and built Wale Tech in-house: PO tracking, fabric QA logs tied to roll and lot, and critical-path milestone alerts.
